Golden Hour: Retrolocal x Gumption Watercolors Workshop

RETROLOCAL X GUMPTION WATERCOLORS

Using turmeric as a natural pigment, you'll explore two dyeing techniques: hand painting and dip dyeing to transform a handwoven silk scarf. Along the way, you'll discover the quiet magic of natural color, watching simple acids shift warm golden tones into an unexpected palette. 

Every guest will be greeted with an iced golden milk latte, inspired by the same golden turmeric we'll be painting with, a small ritual to ease into the evening. Every guest will leave with a one-of-a-kind naturally dyed silk scarf.

• 1 blank 21" handwoven mulberry silk scarf per attendee
• All dyes + painting materials
• Golden Milk Latte (local whole milk + coconut milk options avail.)
